Danielle graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in mental health and addictions.  She is a Licensed Social Worker.  Having recovered from an eating disorder herself, she has always had a passion for working with those struggling from eating disorders.  Danielle completed her concentration practicum at Farrington Specialty Counseling in 2016-2017, providing her with invaluable knowledge and experience in assessing a variety of eating disorders, treating individuals, families, and groups battling eating disorders, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in providing the best possible treatment plan and outcome for every client.  Danielle organized and currently leads the ANAD eating disorder recovery support group.  She is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp™).  She is being supervised and mentored by Brooke Farrington in pursuit of earning her license in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) and certification as an eating disorder specialist (CEDS).  Danielle is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Eating Disorders Resource Center (EDRC), Eating Disorder Hope (EDC), and Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD).  A favorite quote of Danielle's is, "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity," by Albert Einstein, because she believes there is always hope, even in difficult circumstances, sometimes we just need to work hard to find it.
