Dear Clients and friends of Farrington Specialty Centers,
First of all, we want to thank you for your patience and flexibility during this trying time as we continue to provide much needed services in a safe manner.
It can be easy to become lax with covid 19 safety precautions as the federal and state government begins to lift restrictions. Nicer weather and isolation fatigue add to our desire to return to normalcy. Now more than ever we need vigilant adherence to safety precautions: frequent handwashing, hand sanitizer, wearing a mask over nose and mouth while in public places, avoiding crowds, limiting public outings to essential activities, awareness of possible exposures and monitoring self for signs and symptoms of covid 19, most notably: fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, body aches, fatigue.
At Farrington Specialty Centers, we take the safety of our clients, families, colleagues, and staff very seriously. In an effort to continue to protect everyone in this uncertain time, virtual programming will continue for the time being. We will continue to monitor the situation as well as federal and state guidelines and modify these restrictions when in the best interest of clients and staff. If you are someone whose treatment team has asked that you come to the center for onsite check ins, we ask that you remain in your vehicle until your clinician contacts you to enter. We ask that anyone traveling with the client remain in the vehicle unless otherwise instructed. We will continue to screen everyone who enters the building. Everyone who enters the office must wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you. If you have a fever, have respiratory symptoms, have been around others with symptoms, or are at risk of exposure to COVID-19, please contact your clinician and do not come to the center in person for check ins.
We are grateful for your attention to this matter and your concern for everyone’s wellbeing. Your commitment to these procedures allows us to continue to provide life saving services to so many!
Thank you! We look forward to the day when we can be together again!
In this together,
Kim Penland, Nurse Practitioner
